PHOTOS: Ormond Beach Civil Air Patrol squadron leads Memorial Day event

The event, themed "Remember and Honor," featured guest speaker Cadet Chief Master Sgt. Reece Griffin, who is headed to the Air Force Academy.

In recognition of Memorial Day, officers, cadets and family of the Ormond Beach Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol led the events held at Daytona Memorial Park on Monday, May 26.

The event, themed "Remember and Honor," featured guest speaker Cadet Chief Master Sgt. Reece Griffin, a member of the Ormond Beach CAP Squadron who has received an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy this year. CAP Senior member Nicole Sharbono also played a key role in organizing this event.
