Roger Lee Bradley passed away unexpectedly at his home in Daytona Beach, Florida, on July 7, 2025, at the age of 54.
Born in San Francisco, California, on September 6, 1970, Roger was the son of Howard and Marjie (Bradley) Wilson and Ron Bradley. Raised in San Diego, he grew into a thoughtful, kindhearted man whose quiet strength and sincerity touched countless lives.
Roger was the owner of a successful software consulting company, dedicating his career to developing technology solutions for colleges and universities. Respected across his field, he was known for his intelligence, meticulousness, and commitment to making a meaningful impact in higher education.
A proud patriot, Roger loved his country deeply and carried a strong sense of civic pride throughout his life—in his work, in his community service, and in the quiet dignity of his everyday actions.
Community was at the heart of Roger’s life. He was a member of several nonprofit social clubs, including The Halifax River Yacht Club in Daytona Beach. But it was the San Diego Mission Bay and Ski Club that truly captured his spirit. There, he served for many years as both Commodore and board member, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, friendship, and good humor.
Roger found joy in the everyday. He loved to travel—especially alongside his beloved husband George—as they explored the world together. Closer to home, their daily sunrise walks on the beach with their dog Penny were sacred, grounding rituals. He also appreciated the comfort of a local dive bar, where he could relax and connect in his own quiet, easygoing way.
He is survived by his devoted husband of 17 years, George; his son, Matthew; his parents,
Howard and Marjie Wilson, and Ron Bradley; his sister, Jill Bradley Berman; as well as many step-siblings, beloved nieces and nephews. Roger will be remembered with deep affection by his extended family, lifelong friends, and the colleagues who came to rely on his steady presence and generous heart.
In keeping with Roger’s wishes, his life will be celebrated—not mourned. On what would have been his 55th birthday, September 6, 2025, loved ones will raise a glass of Tito’s and diet tonic at his home in Daytona Beach. A second celebration will be held later this fall at the San Diego Mission Bay and Ski Club, the place he proudly called his second home.
