Patty O’Mitty Stauffer possessed a remarkable ability to connect with everyone she met. She was a truly unique individual, and her absence leaves a profound void in our hearts.

Patty grew up in Sea Cliff, Long Island, New York, and graduated from North Shore High School. She maintained close friendships with many of her high school friends for an incredible 70 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Awny, and mother, Carol O’Mitty. Patty is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Bob; her three cats (Binky, Maisey and Inkee) her sisters, Debbie O’Mitty (Pete Heffner) and Peggy Talbott; her brother-in-law, Chris Stauffer (Sally); two nieces and their families.

Patty and Bob shared a loving relationship, often referring to each other fondly as “best pal.” They resided in Maryland (Bowie, Columbia, and Annapolis) before moving to Palm Coast in the early 2000s. Patty was known for her beautiful, themed tablescapes for every celebration, reflecting her passion for entertaining and her dessert first attitude.

Before embarking on her real estate career, Patty worked in financial investments and for Marriott Corporation. Real estate quickly became her true calling, first in Maryland and later flourishing in Palm Coast. She approached her work with a client-centric focus, always striving to ensure their happiness. Within the Grand Haven community, she was affectionately known as the “Furniture Queen” for her knack in acquiring, staging, and moving furniture.

Patty’s leadership significantly impacted our community. She was a dedicated member of the Master’s Association Board, President of the Grand Haven Condo Board, a devoted member of the Grand Haven Woman’s Club, and a supporter of the Palm Coast Advent Health 20/20 Foundation. Her philanthropic spirit was well-known throughout Grand Haven and Palm Coast, as she consistently gave back whenever possible.

Patty’s sudden passing has deeply affected us all. Her giving spirit, quick wit, and radiant smile will forever be etched in our memories.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Flagler Humane Society or Community Cats in Patty’s memory. Arrangements are made in the trust and care of Lotus Funeral Service.
