The third annual Children's Business Fair hosted 28 young vendors at the Palm Coast Community Center on Saturday, June 28.
Organized by Maria Delgado, founder of Culinary Wellness, along with nonprofit Remembering Heroes, and businesses including Approved Mortgage, the event offered local children ages 6-18 an opportunity to showcase their wares and services.
"As the only Children’s Business Fair here in Palm Coast, we will continue to support our talented entrepreneurs in this community and by organizing this annual event, we provide them that opportunity," Delgado said in a press release. "We’re so proud of each youth vendor that participated in this one-day marketplace hosted exclusively for them."
Products such as handmade jewelry, baked goods, flowers, original seashell artwork were displayed for purchased, along with vendors offering services like car detailing.
“Today’s youth are tomorrow’s business innovators and with the amount of applications submitted for this year’s fair confirms what we knew was needed here in this community and the vision of Culinary Wellness is to continue hosting this annual event," Delgado said.
Prizes were awarded to nine participants for "Most Business Potential," "Most Original Idea" and "Best Presentation."
