Harry Edward Clair, 86, of Flagler Beach, Fl. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

Harry was born in Chatsworth, NJ.

He married his sweetheart, Dottie Cornwell on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1959, in Mantua, NJ.

In 1970, he moved his family to South Florida, where they raised 5 children.

Harry worked for many years as a supervisor for the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

In 1983, he moved his family to Palm Coast, Florida.

He was a resident of Flagler County for over 40 years.

Harry worked for the Flagler County Health Department for many years before he retired.

Harry was a true family man, who worked hard to support his family.

He worked 2-3 jobs at times, and he also painted houses on the side his entire life. He enjoyed staying busy around the house. Harry was always pressure washing, painting, and finding something to do.

He enjoyed family gatherings, listening to music, a good meal and classic cars.

Harry was loved by many, loved by all. He was an extraordinary man who deeply loved his family.

Harry is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, (Dottie); daughter, Kathy; and granddaughter, Chantelle Marie. His parents, Charles and Dorothy Clair; brothers, Charles, John, Lewis, and Daniel.

He is survived by his children, Harry James (Michael), Steve (Pam), Dave, and Dawn Atkins (James); his brother, Lee (Marge) in NJ; sister-in-Law, Phyllis Clair in Okeechobee, Fl.; his beloved cat, Tommy.

Harry had 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him for a life well lived.

His memory will live on in every heart he touched.
