Ormond Beach residents donate Quilts of Honor to veterans nursing home

Ormond Beach residents Doug and Tamara Pettit recently presented three patriotic themed handmade quilts to the Emory L. Bennett Veterans’ Nursing Home in Daytona Beach.

The quilts, known as "Quilts of Honor," were donated as Christmas presents for the residents. They were made by Tamara Pettit. Her husband Doug is a retired U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant colonel.
