The City of Ormond Beach Parks and Recreation Department hosted its 19th annual Christmas event at The Casements on Thursday, Dec. 18.
The celebration featured a festive open house, with The Casements decorated for the holidays, and visitors welcomed by Santa and Mrs. Claus. One of the highlights included a room showcasing decorated trees by 20 organizations from around the city, such as the Capt. James Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Casements Camera Club, and the Environmental Discovery Center.
Outside, the Daytona Beach Concert Band performed for guests, who enjoyed complimentary food and drinks throughout the evening. Before the band's 7 p.m. performance, harpist De Luna performed inside as attendees strolled among the holiday decorations. The event also included a gift shop offering a variety of festive decor pieces.
