What types of assisted living options are available?
We have 99 assisted living suites, and what’s unique is the range of independence we can support. In addition to traditional assisted living suites, we also offer premium assisted living apartments with full kitchens with induction cooktops and dishwashers, and washers and dryers inside the suite. That’s very rare in assisted living.
These apartments are ideal for older adults who want more independence while still having access to care, dining, activities, and support. Because we’re fully licensed, residents can age in place and adjust their care as needs change, without having to move again.
How does memory care work at Aden Senior Living?
Our memory care neighborhood is called TRIO, and it’s a secure, thoughtfully designed environment for residents living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.
One of the biggest differentiators is our use of AUGi technology. AUGi provides AI-powered fall detection, eye monitoring, and proactive alerts, allowing our care team to respond quickly when a resident may be at risk.
The system is privacy-focused - it displays residents as stick figures rather than detailed images, but it gives families reassurance that their loved one is being monitored in a way that supports both safety and dignity. In memory care, where residents may not always be able to call for help, that technology can make a meaningful difference.
How is care personalized for each resident?
Every resident has an individualized care plan overseen by a licensed nurse. Those plans are coordinated with doctors, families, and any outside providers involved in the resident’s care.
Care levels are flexible and based on a points system, so support can increase or decrease as needed. Families appreciate knowing that care isn’t one-size-fits-all, it evolves alongside the resident.
We’re also regulated by the Agency for Health Care Administration and are proud to be deficiency-free, which is something families often ask about when choosing assisted living or memory care in Ormond Beach.
How does the dining experience support independence?
Dining is restaurant-style with open hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., which gives residents flexibility and choice.
Residents order from a full menu, including daily specials, salads, sandwiches, and classic favorites. Orders are taken electronically, which helps our team track preferences and ensure residents are eating well.
Our dining and care teams communicate closely, so if someone hasn’t come down for a meal, the care team checks in. It’s another layer of support that families find reassuring.
