Walk/Run 4K for Autism Family Fun Day set for April 18 at Veterans Park in Flagler Beach

The Cedar Bridge Foundation event will feature community vendors, arts and crafts, food trucks, music and a welcoming walk/run suitable for all ages and abilities.

Cedar Bridge Foundation will host the Walk/Run 4k for Autism & Family Fun Day on April 18, 2026, at Veterans Park in Flagler Beach.

The event honors individuals and families navigating autism while recognizing Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month.

“Our goal is to create meaningful opportunities that empower individuals with unique abilities and strengthen community connections,” Dr. Maria Dowling, co-founder of Cedar Bridge Foundation, said. “This event is a chance to walk alongside families, advocates and supporters as we raise awareness and celebrate the incredible strengths within our community.”

Co-founder Terrie Baker added, “We’re excited to bring families, friends, and supporters together for a day that celebrates abilities and community spirit. This event is about honoring each person’s journey and creating a place where everyone feels seen, supported and valued.”

The event will feature community vendors, arts and crafts, food trucks, music and a welcoming walk/run suitable for all ages and abilities. Cedar Bridge Foundation invites local businesses, organizations and community members to participate as walkers, runners, volunteers, vendors or sponsors to help make this event impactful for the many individuals and families who benefit from year-round programs.

Cedar Bridge Foundation is dedicated to empowering individuals with autism and developmental disabilities by providing life-skills education, vocational readiness, recreational activities, advocacy and community engagement.
