Tomoka Christian Church recently hosted its annual “I Still Do” Dinner at its Ormond Beach campus, located at 1450 Hand Ave., a special Christmas gathering designed to encourage and strengthen Christian marriages.

Now in its third year, the event drew a crowd of 40 married couples who came together to celebrate both the Christmas season and their commitment to one another.

The “I Still Do” Dinner is designed to help couples grow deeper in their faith and in their marriages through fellowship, fun, and biblical encouragement. The evening included a shared dinner, interactive games, and a message aimed at providing practical tools for building strong, Christ-centered marriages.

This year’s theme, “White Christmas,” was inspired by the classic 1954 film of the same name, setting a festive and elegant tone for the evening. Decorations and event organization were thoughtfully handled by Marti Pawloski and Martha McDaniel, helping create a welcoming atmosphere for all in attendance.

The event was hosted by Tomoka Christian Church’s Care Ministries team, which includes Marti Pawloski, Ron Pawloski, and Martha McDaniel. The evening’s message, titled “Christmas Tensions Don’t Have to Be a Problem,” was delivered by Ron Pawloski, Director of Biblical Counseling at Tomoka Christian Church. His message encouraged couples to navigate holiday stress with grace, communication, and faith.

Dinner was provided by several church volunteers and served buffet style for the couples.
