Seabreeze's boys soccer team kept the 15th-ranked team in the nation scoreless until just before halftime. Ponte Vedra broke through with a goal and then scored three more in the second half to defeat the Sandcrabs 4-0 on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex.
The loss dropped Seabreeze's record to 2-5-3. Ponte Vedra improved to 7-0-1 after winning another game on Dec. 10. The Sharks peppered 12 shots on goal against the Sandcrabs. Seabreeze goalkeeper Chandler Klepper had eight saves.
Seabreeze returns to the sports complex on Thursday, Dec. 18, for a 7:30 p.m. game against Spruce Creek.
