The Flagler County Veterans Advisory Council presented a thank-you plaque to Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Palm Coast.

"Texas Roadhouse manager Irene Bacci and staff members Debbie Pooler and Steve have been instrumental in honoring veterans not only on Veterans Day but all year round," Flagler County Veterans Services Officer David Lydon said.

"They regularly welcome local veterans service organizations to conduct fundraisers at the restaurant, provide free meals on Veterans Day and generously donated a significant portion of the picnic lunch following the Flagler County Veterans Day parade and ceremony. Jeff Kingdon, Flagler County Veterans Advisory County chairman, created the plaque of appreciation, which will be prominently displayed."
