The Fonseca family was selected as Ormond Memorial Art Museum’s featured family from the museum's Dec. 5 Free Family Art Night event.
According to a statement from the museum, 6-year-old Angelica Fonseca "is a bright and enthusiastic young artist who loves attending the Free Family Art Night."
"Each month, she looks forward to exploring new art projects and learning fresh techniques, from blending colors to creating textures," the statement says. "Her curiosity and excitement shine through in every piece she creates."
Angelica enjoys the guidance of art instructor Linda King and her assistants, and with their support, she feels encouraged to express herself and grow as a young artist, according to OMAM.
"For Angelica, these evenings are not just about art — they’re about joy, learning, and being part of a community that inspires her," the statement says.
OMAM’s Family Art Night takes place from 5:30-7 p.m. on most first Fridays of the month. All art supplies are provided. The next event will be held on Jan. 2.
