Jeffrey Kingdon receives DAV's Miles Draper Award for Outstanding Veteran

Kingdon designs handmade wooden plaques for veterans in Florida.

Jeffrey Kingdon of the Marine Corps League 1st Sgt. Burdett W. Loucks, Jr. Detachment 876 received the Disabled American Veterans Department of Florida Miles Draper Award for Outstanding Veteran at the Aug. 12 meeting of the DAV Chapter 86 in Palm Coast.

Kingdon received the award for the handmade wood plaques he creates to present to veterans in Florida.

DAV Chapter 86 Commander Bill May presented Kingdon with the award.
