Palm Coast team wins 3v3 soccer national championship

Team Sky Bound, with four Matanzas players and a Flagler Palm Coast player, won the gold medal in the High School Women's Division at the Challenge Sports 3v3 National Championship in Kissimmee.

The Palm Coast Sky Bound team won the gold medal in the High School Women's Division at the Challenge Sports 3v3 Soccer National Championship on Aug. 1-3 at the Austin-Tindall Sports Complex in Kissimmee.

The team's six players include Matanzas High School soccer players Rebeka Cordero, Isabella Hopkins, Emma Skinner and Naomi Cordero (2025 graduate), FPC soccer player Eva Sites and St. Augustine St. Joseph soccer player Hayleah Bagnato.

Sky Bound went undefeated in the tournament with five wins and one tie. The locals defeated GFC Williston 4-3 in the title game. This is Hopkins' second national title. She was on the winning 15U team last year.
