The Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa is hosting its first photography contest to celebrate its third annual Food & Wine Classic.
The resort is seeking 10-12 photographers to photograph the event on Sept. 12 and 13 for the contest, according to an announcement on the resort's website. The contest invites select photographers "capture the essence of the experience through their own creative lens."
To apply, photographers must be at least 21 years of age and fill out the participation request form on the resort website by Aug. 13. Selected participants will be notified by Aug. 15 and assigned a time during the event weekend to photograph, the website said..
Contestants will need to submit their event photos by Oct. 1 and the winners will be announced on Oct. 3. Potential prizes include a five-night stay at Hammock Beach, resort dining experiences and overnight getaways, the website said.
Winners will also have the chance to see their work featured on Hammock Beach's website, social media, and in future marketing materials.
