An Ormond Beach girl won the state title during the junior division of the Miss All American Pageant, held over the past weekend in Charleston, South Carolina.
Gianna Capri, who competed representing Volusia County, is the first Miss Florida Jr. All American, according to a press release.
“Being crowned the first Miss Florida Jr All American is exciting and I look forward to an amazing year with my fellow state and national winners," Gianna said. "This past pageant week was filled with many fun memories, friendship, and a positive message to all the contestants that we are valued. I look forward to traveling the state of Florida and showcasing this amazing system! The Miss All American Pageant empowers young ladies like me to have a voice and lead in our local communities."

Gianna will partner with the Miss All American system in her upcoming annual Holiday Christmas Toy Drive, as well as other community service projects.
The Miss All American Pageant was founded in 1979 and now includes three divisions: Miss, Teen and Junior. A total of 115 women participated in this year's pageant. Gianna competed in categories including interview, evening gown and activewear.
Gianna also attended events such as the sashing ceremony on the historic USS Yorktown Aircraft Carrier where she met country music singer Lee Greenwood and Miss All American Ambassadors Noelia Voight and UmaSofia Srivastava. She also attended the local River Dogs baseball game.
