The 2024 Flagler Beach Stars and Stripes Parade kicked off the county's Fourth of July celebrations with another year of fun floats and excited parade watchers.
At 9 a.m., the parade ran from North Sixth Street to South Sixth Street on State Road A1A. Among the parade participants included decorated Jeeps, the Seawolf Pirates and Sheriff Rick Staly and other Flagler County Sheriff's Office deputies riding horses.
The city then held music and entertainment at 10 a.m. in Veterans Park. Flagler County's Fireworks over the Runway show began at 7 p.m. at the Flagler Executive Airport with the reading of the Declaration of Independence. The fireworks show began at 9 p.m.
