What's a Black Friday in Ormond Beach without a parade of antique cars?
The 65th annual Gaslight Parade was held on Friday, Nov. 24, featuring cars from 1998 and older. Cars were lined up at The Casements, allowing people to get an up close look prior to the parade, which began at the corner of E. Granada Blvd. and Riverside Drive.
The parade — presented by the Volusia Region Antique Automobile Club of America — then moved east on E. Granada Blvd. before turning south on A1A and continuing on to Harvard Drive.
Among the antique vehicles in the parade were 1960s Chevrolet corvettes, Volkswagen beetles, and more than one Ford Model A.
On Saturday, Nov. 25, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the club is also hosting an antique car show at Fortunato Park in Ormond Beach.
