The suspect, Corby Lane Eisman, found the victim after she posted a story on Snapchat’s Snap Map, according to a news release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies began investigating Aug. 31. The victim told deputies that Eisman knew she was 16, and that he'd told her he was 19. He admitted to deputies that he'd had sex with her, according to his arrest report.

Deputies arrested Eisman, but he has since been released on $40,000 bond.

“This is exactly why we encourage everyone to be very cautious of what you post on social media and the platforms you use,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Something as innocent as a picture which gives away your location can attract people that want to victimize you."

The sheriff encouraged parents to maintain awareness of what their children are doing on social media and talk to them about social media safety.
