Campers participating in the first week of Ormond Beach's Enviro Camp at the Environmental Discovery Center tried their hand at archery on Tuesday, June 7.
The first week of Enviro Camp, themed "If I were King of the Forest," began on Monday, June 6, and will additionally teach campers about the mammals that inhabit Central Park and the Ormond Beach area, according to the camp's flyer. Enviro Camp began in 2006 and was originally held at The Casements, but moved to the EDC in 2016 after it was constructed.
The camp is designed for children ages 7-10 and runs for two, four-week sessions.
