Two arrested in Bunnell on drug trafficking charges

Detectives uncovered various drugs, a firearm, and ammunition at the residence of 1109 Sherman St., which is now closed.

On Friday, May 27, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit served a Narcotics Search Warrant at 1109 Sherman St. in Bunnell. The warrant stemmed from a previous undercover operation conducted by SIU and has led to the arrest of 24-year-old Jayveon Williams and 21-year-old Tiandra Bennett.

During the search of the residence, detectives recovered a total of 96.2g of Cocaine, 4g of Fentanyl, 1g of Synthetic Cathinones, one box of .22 ammunition, a full magazine of .223 ammunition, an AR-15, $851 in cash and drug paraphernalia. Both Williams and Bennett were arrested without incident.

Williams criminal history dates back to 2015 in Flagler County. He’s previously been arrested for Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Breach of Peace, Resisting Officer without Violence, Flee and Elude Law Enforcement, Driving While License Suspended with Knowledge and Possession of Marijuana.

Today, Williams is facing charges for Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Synthetic Cathinones, Possession of Fentanyl and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He’s being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on a $28,500 bond.

Bennett is facing charges for Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She’s also being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on a $26,000 bond. Additional charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
