Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Sadie, an 8-year-old Australian shepherd and basset hound mix with a brown coat. Her adoption fee is $100.

The second is Curry, a 10-year-old mixed breed dog with a brindle and white coat. He seeks a nice, quiet and loving home to spend his senior years. He would enjoy walks in the park as well as playing ball and fetch. His adoption fee is $35.

The third is Mango, a 9-year-old mixed breed dog with a tan coat. She is scared in the kennel and would benefit from a change of scenery. Her adoption fee has already been paid for.

Last but not least is Betty, a 4-month-old domestic shorthair cat with a brown and white coat. Her adoption fee is $75.

The Halifax Humane Society's adoption lobby, located at 2364 LPGA Blvd., is open to the public daily from noon to 6 p.m. Admissions are accepted daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Appointments are required for admissions, boarding and grooming. There is no appointment required to visit the adoption lobby. Masks are not required but encouraged if you are not feeling well or may have been recently exposed to COVID-19. To adopt, contact [email protected] or call 274-4703.
