Beach house sells for $4.25 million

An oceanfront house was the top real estate transaction in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea for the week of Dec. 5-11 in the Multiple Listing Service. John and Andrea White, of Ormond Beach, sold 747 Ocean Shore Blvd. to Edward and Hazel Shivers, of Lakeland, for $4.25 million. Built in 1997, the house is a 5/6.5 and has a swimming pool, dune walk and 8,583 square feet. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.

Ormond Beach

Carol Rosenwald, of Lagrange, Georgia, sold 18 Walnut Lane to Edwin Brockett, of Ormond Beach, for $650,000. Built in 2013, the house is a 4/2.5 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,496 square feet.

Michael Hanke, individually and as trustee, sold 28 W. Ocean Terrace to Albert and Muriel Sigala, of Ormond Beach, for $529,500. Built in 1963, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,740 square feet. It sold in 2010 for $160,000.

Arlene Valente and others sold 116 Hilldale Ave. to Remina Kumar, of Ormond Beach, for $455,000. Built in 1959, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,588 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $335,000.

Michael and Mallory Oteri, of Rogersville, Tennessee, sold 73 Marvin Road to Kevin Burrus and Catherine Lamm, of Ormond Beach, for $354,000. Built in 1959, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,613 square feet.

Shawn Frenzilli and Wydia Meytarina, of Daytona Beach, sold 121 Jamestown Drive to Elizabeth and Amber Hamant, of Phoenix, Arizona, for $350,000. Built in 1962, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,482 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $139,000.

Harriet Damesek, individually and as trustee, sold 4 Sandpoint Circle to Robert Heringer Jr. of Ormond Beach, for $349,900. Built in 1993, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 2,141 square feet.

Joseph Palma, Jerald Palma, Jeraki Palma and Louis Palma sold 107 Chrysanthemum Drive to James and Debra Dyer, of Ormond Beach, for $325,000. Built in 2010, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,869 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $188,000.

Timothy and Kristen Shell, of Hershey, Pennsylvania, sold 724 Orchard Ave. to David Korich and Belen Marcelo, of Monterey, Tennessee, for $256,000. Built in 1986, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,632 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $174,900.

Kathleen Ferguson, of Baltimore, Maryland, sold 44 Kent Drive to Taylor Investments of Central Florida LLC, of Ormond Beach, for $250,000. Built in 1959, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,160 square feet.

Fair Oaks

B&RMU LLC, of Inverness, California, sold 23 Fair Oaks Circle to Chrissie Wright and Alisa Hilditch, of Ormond Beach, for $162,000. Built in 1979, the townhouse is a 3/2.5 and has 1,339 square feet.

Halifax Plantation

Barry Goldberg and Deborah O’Connor sold 3003 Silvermines Ave. to Matthew and Heather Putnam, of Ormond Beach, for $515,000. Built in 2019, the house is a 3/2 and has 2,357 square feet.

Channa Davis, of Ormond Beach, sold 3167 Connemara Drive to Myassar Zarif and Nisrine Bandar-Zarif, of Mount Sinai, New York, for $375,000. Built in 2016, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,919 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $241,300.

Northbrook

Charles Yancey and Jenny Moya sold 145 Northbrook Lane to Jaina Diotalevi, of Ormond Beach, for $185,000. Built in 1980, the townhouse is a 2/2.5 and has 1,344 square feet. It sold in 2014 for $107,500.

Plantation Bay

Daniel and Patricia Canter, of Ormond Beach, sold 3240 Tralee Drive to Douglas and Carol Wicks, of Palm Coast, for $425,000. Built in 2013, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,894 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $295,000.

Anthony and Christina Schimenti, of Ormond Beach, sold 1106 Hansberry Court to Tihomir and Rozita Poposka, of Ormond Beach, for $280,000. Built in 2005, the townhouse is a 2/2 and has 1,551 square feet.

Trails North 40

Gertrude Niewiaroski, of Louisa, Virginia, sold 165 Deer Lake Circle to Lawrence and Edda Curland, of Ormond Beach, for $350,000. Built in 1985, the townhouse is a 4/3.5 and has 2,671 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $262,000.

Tomoka Oaks

William and Mary Pala, of New Milford, Connecticut, sold 640 N. Nova Road, Unit 2180, to Rosalind Smith, of Ormond Beach, for $153,000. Built in 1976, the condo is a 2/2 and has 932 square feet.

Tymber Creek

Mossy Oak Homes LLC, of Ormond Beach, sold 353 Applegate Landing to Dallas Joiner, of Ormond Beach, for $475,000. Built in 1980, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 2,801 square feet. It sold in March for $230,000.

Dreama Jenkins, of Haymarket, Virginia, sold 122 Hollow Branch Crossing to Jared and Caitlin Mauldin, of Ormond Beach, for $340,000. Built in 1985, the house is a 4/2 and has a fireplace and 2,142 square feet. It sold in 2013 for $118,800.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Zelda Ponder sold 2290 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 101, to Karen Eising, of Townsend, Georgia, for $314,000. Built in 1984, the condo is a 2/2 and has 1,121 square feet. It sold in 2009 for $147,500.

Richard and Carol Moro, of The Villages, sold 2100 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 119, to Donald and Theresa Jenkins, of Stoughton, Wisconsin, for $302,000. Built in 1973, the condo is a 2/2 and has 1,087 square feet.

Beverly Butcher, of Albany, New York, sold 121 Essex Drive to Kenneth Moss, of Ormond Beach, for $265,000. Built in 1956, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,059 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $159,000.

Karla Haines, individually and as trustees, sold 43 Ocean Shore Drive to Joseph and Angela Territo, of Orlando, for $248,000. Built in 1956, the house is a 2/1 and has 756 square feet.

Eric Hall, of Ormond Beach, sold 40 Alamanda Drive to Andrew Ames and Lewis Ames, of Ormond Beach, for $225,000. Built in 1953, the house is a 2/2 and has 820 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $130,000.
