Matanzas swim teams tune up for final stretch of the season

The Pirates hosted Mainland and Atlantic on Sept. 30.

The Matanzas girls and boys swim teams defeated Atlantic and Mainland in a meet at the Palm Coast Aquatics Center on Sept. 30.

The girls finished with 102 points, while the boys finished with 85 points. 

Matanzas will compete against Flagler Palm Coast in the schools' senior meet on Oct. 14 at the Palm Coast Aquatics Center with districts following. The Class 2A state meet is scheduled for Nov. 5 in Stuart.
