Beachside house leads the sales list at $615,000

A house in the Ann Rustin Estates neighborhood was the top real estate transaction in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea for the week of Oct. 3-9 in the Multiple Listing Service. Paul Austin sold 945 Holly Circle to John Meredith and Mariah Snow, of Ormond Beach, for $615,000. Built in 1966, the house is a 4/3 and has a swimming pool and 2,478 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $349,000. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.

Ormond Beach

Peter and Sandra Applegarth, of Ormond Beach, sold 193 Royal Dunes to Benjamin Sidoti and Yvonne Cuellar, of Ormond Beach, for $475,000. Built in 1963, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,705 square feet.

Tracy Gerrits-Rash, of Crystal River, sold 555 N. Yonge St. to Nickolas Smiley and Fatima Bolo, of Ormond Beach, for $399,000. Built in 1973, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 1,834 square feet. It sold in 2012 for $134,000.

Charles and Sharon Matlin, of Boulder, Colorado, sold 253 N. Wedgewood Circle to Renata Dworak, of Bloomingburg, New York, for $350,000. Built in 1966, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,661 square feet.

David Rath and Karen Chipman, of Ormond Beach, sold 231 Sanchez Ave. to Debra and Terry Neher, of Ormond Beach, for $290,000. Built in 1972, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,536 square feet It sold in 2018 for $182,500.

Bryan and Maria Grizzell, of Atlanta, sold 72 Broadmoor Circle to Empiria Homes Inc., of Green Cove Springs, for $200,000. Built in 1975, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,659 square feet.

Daniel Lawrence, of Ormond Beach, sold 1235 Fernway Drive to Ryan and Emily Gast, of Ormond Beach, for $187,500. Built in 1959, the house is a 2/1 and has 978 square feet.

Castlegate

Fred and Linda Arford, of DeLand, sold 1 King Edward Drive to Patrick Nordman and Cynthia Pawlina, of Ormond Beach, for $386,000. Built in 1993, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 1,855 square feet.

Chelsea Place

Robert Tomlinson, of Port Orange, sold 312 Nottinghill St. to Richard and Sandra Gosch, of Ormond Beach, for $610,000. Built in 2018, the house is a 4/2 and has two fireplaces, a swimming pool and 2,377 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $482,900.

Kathleen Brehm, of Ormond Beach, sold 3151 Kailani Court to Ronald Wean, of Ormond Beach, for $292,500. Built in 2002, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,684 square feet.

Plantation Bay

Susan Mitchell, individually and as trustee, sold 1043 Kilkenny Lane to Joan Toler and Angela Harting, of Ormond Beach, for $295,000. Built in 2014, the house is a 2/2 and has 1,510 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $227,500.

Semoran Vista Inc., of Sanford, sold 1330 Hansberry Lane to Kenneth Cortes and Liliana Baez, of Levittown, New York, for $285,000. Built in 2009, the house is a 2/3 and has 1,604 square feet. It sold in 2009 for $167,500.

Plantation Pines

Jury Case and Tara Thomson, of Farmersburg, Indiana, sold 244 Conifer Lane to Jeffrey and Virginia Moneman, of Ormond Beach, for $475,000. Built in 1992, the house is a 3/2.5 and has a fireplace and 1,892 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $296,000.

Reflections Village

Catherine Jensen, of Ormond Beach, sold 27 Reflections Village Drive to Lucy Vogel, of Churchville, Pennsylvania, for $265,000. Built in 1997, the house is a 2/2 and has 1,518 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $220,500.

The Trails

David Ellenbogen, of Ormond Beach, sold 8 Choctaw Trail to Stephen Sokol and Teresa Cataldi, of Plantation, for $449,000. Built in 1978, the house is a 4/3 and has two fireplaces, a swimming pool and 2,900 square feet.

Tomoka Estates

Eric and Kelley Register, of Ormond Beach, sold 1116 Roberts St. to Maria Hernandez, of Ormond Beach, for $375,000. Built in 2001, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,869 square feet.

Brad Dow, Kaylee Bounds and Chelsea Dow, of Ormond Beach, sold 1073 Roberts St. to Logan Perkins and Kyleigh Bernkrant, of Ormond Beach, for $300,000. Built in 1988, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,282 square feet.

Matthew and Valerie Hall, of Daytona Beach, sold 35 Pine Valley Circle to Paul Austin, of Ormond Beach, for $425,000. Built in 1970, the house is a 4/3 and has a swimming pool and 1,885 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $278,000.

Woodmere South

Richard Pence, of Ormond Beach, sold 844 Candlewood Circle to Shane Frechette, of Ormond Beach, for $360,000. Built in 1976, the house is a 3/2 and has a swimming pool and 1,678 square feet.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Margorie Drew-Milward sold 120 Mariners Drive to Aaron and Jennifer Irwin, of Ormond Beach, for $470,000. Built in 1981, the house is a 3/3 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,285 square feet.

Bonnie Pizio, of Tecumseh, Michigan, and Theodore Pizio Jr., of Clinton, Michigan, sold 2600 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 3040, to Claude McGirt III and Julie Wilson, of Ormond Beach, for $320,000. Built in 1982, the condo is a 2/2.5 and has 1,344 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $189,000.

Joseph Heller, of Slaty Fork, West Virginia, sold 82 Margaret Road to Shawn Passen, of Ormond Beach, for $306,100. Built in 1955, the house is a 2/1 and has 784 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $175,000.

Jerelyn Kent, individually and as trustee, sold 55 Brooks Drive to Portum Properties LLC, of Plantation, for $235,000. Built in 1951, the house is a 3/2 and has 2,301 square feet.

Larry and Carolyn Riffle, of Cowen, West Virginia, sold 1513 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 6A, to Robert and Deborah Heller, of Land O’ Lakes, for $180,000. Built in 1985, the condo is a 1/1 and has 767 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $127,000.

Arija Restbergs, of Lowman, New York, sold 10 Palmetto Drive to John and Laura Kraus, of Ormond Beach, for $155,000. Built in 1954, the house is a 2/2 and has 700 square feet.
