The city recognized local veterans with a drive-thru celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 9, where they and a guest received a free lunch.
Held at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, the participating veterans received a box lunch from RPS Catering. It was hosted by the city's Leisure Services Department, and Mayor Bill Partington, along with City Commissioners Susan Persis and Dwight Selby, aided in the celebration.
This is the second year the city has held the event.
