Rain and chilly weather did not deter the second oldest continual festival in Florida.
Though the first day (Saturday, Nov. 6) of the two-day art festival had to be canceled due to the previous day's rainy weather, artists, visitors and locals alike filled Beach Street on Sunday, Nov. 7, for the 59th-annual Halifax Art Festival. White tents dotted both sides of Beach Street, with more artists showcasing their works at City Island. This year's festival also included a student art exhibit at the Daytona Beach Regional Library.
The festival featured juried local, regional, and national original works of art from over 225 artists. The annual festival is presented by the Guild of the Museum of Arts and Sciences, and serves as a fundraiser for the museum.
