Flagler Palm Coast beat Matanzas 11-4 in boys lacrosse on March 29, adding to the Bulldogs' winning streak and making them 6-3 for the season. This ended FPC's multiyear losing streak against Matanzas, with FPC sophomore Dylan Toriello leading the team with four goals and one assist.
Matanzas had a newly appointed coach Alex Houlihan, who took over only hours prior to the game starting. Houlihan stated that the team started the game off strong with several looks, but emotions from issues outside the team took over. Houlihan said, "The team needed to stay out of the box and play with their heads and not bodies." Matanzas record fell to 2-7 for the season.
