Pirates keep The Ship afloat, defeat Bulldogs at home

Matanzas picks up its second win of the season.

Matanzas and FPC went head-to-head on the diamond under the Friday night lights at The Ship. The March 5 game saw the Pirates and the Bulldogs duke it out, with Matanzas coming out on top 8-3.

Matanzas' Sean Sparling threw six innings and struck out 13 Bulldogs.

The Pirates square off against Pine Ridge at home on March 8. FPC will host New Symrna on March 10.
