Hosted by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, such training challenges attract motor officers from throughout the U.S., according to a Facebook post by OBPD. This annual challenge is named in honor of Seminole County Sheriff's Office motor Deputy Matthew J. Miller, who died in the line of duty in 2011.

"While they can be competitive and friendly, frustrating and fun, they are specifically designed to enhance the skills and safety of police motorcycle operation," the post reads.
