Christmas in July flyer.
The second-annual Christmas in July took place in Ormond Beach's downtown district on Saturday, July 24, with over 46 of our local shops and restaurants participating.
The event, presented by Ormond Beach MainStreet, included great sales, live music, kid activities, and a visit from Santa. This event helps local businesses, as it is one of the busiest days for these shops.
Frank Gromling, owner of Ocean Art Gallery, said that Christmas in July is one of their most significant events in the three years that they’ve been in the Granada Plaza. Likewise, Christopher Whitewood, manager of Family Renew Community's The Secret Attic thrift store, said he really appreciates the event as it helps bring in new customers.
For Elaine Hoehn, the owner of Miss Priss, her store's sales are up by 100%; she said this has been the best month they’ve had in fourteen years.
