Thinking about international travel? The U.S. Department of State is increasing Passport book fees by $20 beginning Dec. 27. The good news is that there is a very small window to apply at the Flagler County Public Library – both in Bunnell and Palm Coast.

“We were just notified that fees for adults and minors are increasing Monday,” said Library Director Holly Albanese. “Most Passport facilities will be closed over the holiday weekend, including the Library, but we will be open in Bunnell on Wednesday and in Palm Coast on Wednesday and Thursday.”

The Bunnell Branch will be open until 4 p.m. Wednesday. To make an appointment, call 386-437-7390.

The Palm Coast Branch Passport desk is open until 7 p.m. Wednesday, and until 5 p.m. Thursday.

The last passport application is accepted 15 minutes before the passport desk closes. For more information, go to https://www.flaglercounty.gov/departments/library/library-services/apply-for-a-passport or call 386-446-6763 option 2.
