Two dogs and two cats have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Bagheera, a 4-year-old terrier mix with a black and white coat. She is a shy pup and will need a special adopter — someone with a lot of patience, tolerance and time to allow Bagheera to trust them. Bagheera does love to play and frolic with the other dogs and is part of the HHS Prison Pups N Pals program. Her adoption fee is $70.

The second dog is Babe, a 3-year-old Hound mix with a black and white coat. She is also part of the HHS Prison Pups N Pals program, and her adoption fee is $70.

The first cat is Teddy, a 5-year-old domestic shorthair with a grey tabby coat. Though he's not a kitten anymore, he still has plenty of energy to play. He is located at the Pet Supermarket in Ormond Beach, and his adoption fee is $35.

Last but not least is Boots, a 7-year-old domestic shorthair mix with a brown and tan coat. While he still plays, he is also more relaxed and can cuddle or sleep longer than a kitten. He is located at the PetSmart on International Speedway Boulevard, and his adoption fee is $35.
