Beachfront house sells for $1.55 million in Ormond Beach

A house on the beach was the top real estate transaction in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea for the week of Aug. 16-22 in the Multiple Listing Service. J.R. Smith sold 637 Ocean Shore Blvd. to Huda Aljonaldy and Dhina Daoud, of Ormond Beach, for $1.55 million. Build in 1958, the house is a 3/4 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 3,084 square feet. It sold in 1998 for $500,000. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.

Ormond Beach

Kathryn Becks, of Ormond Beach, sold 200 John Anderson Drive to Tiziana Barbaro, of Ormond Beach, for $1.45 million. Built in 1963, the house is a 4/3.5 and has 3,920 square feet. It sold in 2012 for $762,500.

John and Joyce Sanders, individually and as trustees, sold 395 S. Atlantic Ave., Unit 4030, to Kevin and Patricia Ronan, and Thomas Ronan, of Rochester, Minnesota, for $445,000. Built in 1982, the condo is a 3/2 and has 1,824 square feet. It sold in 2004 for $325,000.

Grace Emery, individually and as trustee, sold 41 Twin River Drive to Timothy Bergland, of Ormond Beach, for $360,000. Built in 1973, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, boat dock and 2,433 square feet. It sold in 2002 for $258,000.

Brett and Pamela Ford, of Ormond Beach, sold 56 Plaza Drive to Andrew D’Anna and Kristy Patterson, of Ormond Beach, for $301,800. Built in 1931, the house is 4/3 and has a guest cottage, fireplace and 2,010 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $151,900.

Patricia and Christopher Hopkins, of Port Orange, sold 12 Southern Pine Trail to Elia Golfin, of Ormond Beach, for $260,000. Built in 1983, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,267 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $214,000.

William Powers Jr. sold 111 Benjamin Drive to Freddie Franklin III, of Ormond Beach, for $257,700. Built in 1954, the house is a 2/1.5 and has a fireplace and 1,280 square feet. It sold in 1980 for $38,400.

Michael and Ellen Miller, of Hixson, Tennessee, sold 1 Tomoka Oaks Blvd., Unit 136, to Ricky Ludwig, of Ormond Beach, for $160,000. Built in 1980, the condo is a 2/2 and has 1,184 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $125,000.

Susan Wild, of Ormond Beach, sold 20 Oakwood Park to Luke Rock, of Ormond Beach, for $155,000. Built in 1983, the townhouse is a 3/3.5 and has 1,496 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $72,001.

Wayne Bessette, of Ormond Beach, sold 376 Hand Ave. to Nathan Wynne and Tara Herzig, of Ormond Beach, for $142,000. Built in 1958, the house is a 2/1 and has 816 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $57,500.

Breakaway Trails

John and April Minaberry, of Ormond Beach, sold 11 Spanish Pine Way to Vicki Demarco, of Ormond Beach, for $462,500. Built in 2006, the house is a 4/3.5 and has 2,868 square feet. It sold in 2006 for $465,656.

Chelsea Place

Vicki Demarco, of Ormond Beach, sold 376 Chesham St. to Jeffrey and Becky Nichols, of Ormond Beach, for $393,000. Built in 2016, the house is a 3/2 and has 2,047 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $342,500.

Mark and Theresa Gianfrancesco, of Athens, Georgia, sold 465 Chelsea Place Ave. to Amy and Jason Dunlap, and Marlin Dunlap, of Ormond Beach, for $329,000. Built in 2006, the house is a 4/3.5 and has a swimming pool and 1,993 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $180,900.

Halifax Plantation

Robert and Jodi Williams sold 3345 Glenshane Way to Arif and Vukosava Hodzic, of Ormond Beach, for $322,500. Built in 1999, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 1,807 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $273,500.

Seagate Homes LLC, of Palm Coast, sold 3428 Saltee Circle to William and Cassie Norris, of Bunnell, for $312,450. Built in 2019, the house is a 4/2 and has 2,234 square feet.

Plantation Bay

Shannon Brooks, of Ormond Beach, sold 604 Aldenham Lane to Bryan and Michelle Smith, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, for $442,000. Built in 2016, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,961 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $380,000.

Eileen Brant, of Edgewater, sold 780 Aldenham Lane to Raymond and Kristine Stein, of Ormond Beach, for $259,000. Built in 2017, the house is a 2/2 and has 1,510 square feet.

Plantation Pines

Michael and Norian Dehaven, of Ormond Beach, sold 222 Pine Cone Lane to Mic and Mary Smith, of Ormond Beach, for $343,000. Built in 2006, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 2,433 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $205,000.

The Trails

David Geiger, of Dublin, California, sold 12 Indian Trail to Donna George-Moskovitz, of Ormond Beach, for $175,500. Built in 1982, the house is a 2/2 and has a fireplace and 1,439 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $156,500.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Three D Management Corp., of Ormond Beach, sold 34 Sandra Drive to David and Marcia Casteel, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for $385,000. Built in 1978, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,729 square feet.

Kari Little sold 1241 Riverbreeze Blvd. to Nancy Carlson and Matthew Frauenhofer, of West Falls, New York, for $311,000. Built in 1957, the house is a 3/1.5 and has a swimming pool and 854 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $208,000.

Joanne Pallante, of Ormond Beach, sold 8 Ocean Crest Drive to Edward Kyriacou, of Ormond Beach, for $284,900. Built in 1970, the house is a 3/2 and has a swimming pool and 1,161 square feet. It sold in 1978 for $43,700.

Kitty Hairfield, individually and as trustee, sold 2730 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 4010, to John and Claudette McKinnon, as trustees, for $239,900. Built in 1990, the condo is a 2/2 and has 871 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $197,000.

Jon and Patti Peters, of State College, Pennsylvania, sold 2860 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 102, to Mark Troiano and Nancy Hauber, of Port Orange, for $175,000. Built in 1990, the condo is a 2/2 and has 1,056 square feet. It sold in 1998 for $75,000.

U.S. Bank Trust NA, as trustee, sold 3390 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 1050, to Jaidy Franco, of Ormond Beach, for $170,000. Built in 1984, the condo is a 2/2 and has 1,213 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $120,100.
