Local foodies rejoiced as the seventh-annual Taste of Ormond event returned to Rockefeller Gardens on Sunday, March 1 with the flavors of two dozen local restaurants.
The Ormond MainStreet fundraiser featured fare from establishments like the Grind Gastropub, 63 Sovereign, Tipsy Taco and Rose Villa. Event attendees could sample a diverse range of dishes, from pizza and barbecue, to donuts and ceviche. S. R Perrott also offered a wine and craft beer tasting area.
Proceeds from the event will go to help new businesses with marketing grants, fund initiatives for the city's downtown district, as well as bring new events, arts and entertainment into town, according to a press release.
