Flagler Beach hosts First Friday to open 2020

The First Friday of the new year was a great one for Flagler Beach residents.

Members of the Flagler Beach community filled up Veterans Park on Friday, Jan. 3, in celebration of the new year for the First Friday event of 2020.

The city of Flagler Beach organizes the monthly event, which brings the community together for evenings of outdoor entertainment.  Those who attended the event enjoyed an evening of music, dance moves, food and cool weather. Music was played by the band Soul Fire.

Local restaurants and shops stayed busy, with half of the food vendors being sold out by 7 p.m.
