House on the beach gets $2.5 million, top seller in Ormond Beach

A house on the beach was the top real estate transaction in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea for the week of Nov. 15-21 in the Multiple Listing Service. Richard and Stephanie Potts, of Ormond Beach, sold 125 Ocean Shore Blvd. to Brian McShane, of Ormond Beach, for $2.5 million. Built in 2010, the house is a 4/4 with two half-baths, two fireplaces, a swimming pool and 5,848 square feet. It sold in 2013 for $2,855,000. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.

Ormond Beach

Kevin McQualte and Jeanne Connelly, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, sold 763 Riverside Drive to Erik Benson, of Ormond Beach, for $385,000. Built in 1960, the house is a 4/3 and has two fireplaces, a swimming pool and 2,390 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $325,000.

Donald and Penny Ward, of Ormond Beach, sold 119 Creek Forest Lane to Jonathan and Angelina Mahany, of Ormond Beach, for $370,000. Built in 2007, the house is a 3/2 and has 2,572 square feet. It sold in 2014 for $225,000.

Jennifer and Christopher Lee, of South Daytona, sold 17 Monte Savino Blvd. to Mina and Shahbal Khazraee, of Ormond Beach, for $320,000. Built in 2016, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,636 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $289,900.

Charles and Kelly Stroud, of Ormond Beach, sold 7 Twin River Drive to Bruce and Hilda Williamson, of Ormond Beach, for $320,000. Built in 1971, the house is a 3/2.5 and has a swimming pool and 2,555 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $260,000.

Avigdor Rabinovich, of Tel Aviv, Israel, sold 108 Benjamin Drive to James Hans and Kelley Cassidy, of Cape May, New Jersey, for $265,000. Built in 1954, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,172 square feet. It sold in June for $137,500.

Douglas Crocker and Marcel Brazelton, of Ormond Beach, sold 119 Bonita Place to David McDermott and Melody Beers, of Ormond Beach, for $265,000. Built in 1967, the house is a 3/2 and has a swimming pool and 1,650 square feet. It sold in 1998 for $83,200.

D.R. Horton Inc., of Orlando, sold 286 Sandoval Drive to Kenneth and Judy Brink, of Ormond Beach, for $262,491. Built in 2020, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,760 square feet.

Steven and Kimberly Dufore, of Hayesville, North Carolina, sold 61 Sycamore Circle to Christopher Jarnagin, of Ormond Beach, for $254,000. Built in 1980, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,787 square feet. It sold in 1987 for $114,000.

Sherry Odom, of Ormond Beach, sold 126 Live Oak Ave. to Myles Lampe, of Ormond Beach, for $217,000. Built in 1992 the house is a 4/2.5 and has 1,620 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $95,000.

Stephen and Amanda Corbin sold 1320 Golf Ave. to Carson and Lucy Crist, of Ormond Beach, for $186,000. Built in 1976, the house is a 2/1 and has 1,064 square feet. It sold in 2008 for $139,000.

Breakaway Trails

Joe Brumfield sold 133 Black Hickory Way to Joanne O’Drobinak for $360,000. Built in 2005, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,172 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $323,500.

Halifax Plantation

Nancy Fletcher, individually and as trustee, sold 1410 Enos Drive to William and Eva-Marie Clements, of Ormond Beach, for $434,500. Built in 2007, the house is a 3/2 and has a swimming pool and 2,335 square feet. It sold in 2014 for $315,000.

Dream Finders Homes LLC, of Jacksonville, sold 3287 Bailey Ann Drive to Richard and Maureen Smith, of Ormond Beach, for $300,014.40. Built in 2020, the townhouse is a 2/2 and has 1,721 square feet.

James and Belinda Garrett, of Daytona Beach Shores, sold 3138 Kailiani Court to Andrea and John Sheren, of Manorville, New York, for $232,500. Built in 2002, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,684 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $222,000.

Oak Forest

Donald and Cassie Sciotto, of Ormond Beach, sold 1414 Oak Forest Drive to Geraldine Adams, and Amanda and Justin Merry, of Ormond Beach, for $335,000. Built in 1977, the house is a 3/3 and has a fireplace and 2,414 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $240,000.

Plantation Bay

Robert Palmer and Carol Brilliant, individually and as trustees, sold 1392 Sunningdale Lane to Kimberly and Lance Warren, of Ormond Beach, for $270,000. Built in 2002, the house is a 2/2 and has 2,001 square feet. It sold in 2002 for $163,230.

Saddlers Run

Charles and Anne Sylvester, individually and as trustees, sold 63 Sounders Trail Circle to Jeffrey Reid and Catherine Sanders, of Ormond Beach, for $296,000. Built in 1999, the house is a 3/2 and has 2,100 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $175,000.

Tomoka Estates

Jeffrey and Melissa McSweeney sold 1138 Indigo Road to Douglas Crocker and Marcel Brazelton, of Ormond Beach, for $340,000. Built in 2004, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,882 square feet.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Michael and Katie Ewing, of Carthage, New York sold 132 Avalon Drive to Neil and Helen Flanagan, of Milton, New Hampshire, for $352,000. Built in 2000, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 2,030 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $333,000.

Dennis and Ermira Kyle, of Oakland, New Jersey, sold 133 Marlin Drive to June Dillon, of Toledo, Ohio, for $300,000. Built in 1972, the house is a 4/2 and has a swimming pool and 1,915 square feet.

Melody McCray, of Ormond Beach, sold 2700 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 507, to Jacqueline Gordon, of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, for $293,000. Built in 1986, the condo is a 3/2 and has 1,415 square feet. It sold in 2008 for $101,700.

Timothy Gilmore, as representative, sold 2600 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 309, to Theresa MacNamee, of Ormond Beach, for $250,000. Built in 1982, the condo is a 2/2 and has 1,344 square feet. It sold in 2006 for $295,000.

B&E Group Holdings LLC, of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, sold 108 Brendale Drive to Denver Cobb, of Port Orange, for $220,000. Built in 1956, the house is a 2/1 and has 1,076 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $136,000.
