The city of Palm Coast celebrated the seventh-annual Senior Games this past weekend, Sept. 14-15, after it was delayed due to Hurricane Dorian. Tennis, ballroom dancing, golf and pickleball were the main events, while the archery and corn hole events were canceled.
Members of the community and visitors from neighboring cities joined the challenge looking to qualify for the Florida Senior Games. The events were for all athletes of every skill level, divided by age.
Ninety-four people signed up for pickleball.
The city of Palm Coast created new hashtags for this Senior Games: #findyourgame and #yourpalmcoast.
