The pier at Bailey Riverbridge Gardens was lined with eager fishers on Saturday, Sept. 7, as 48 Ormond Beach children all cast rods hoping for the biggest catch of the morning.
The city's free Reel in the Fun catch and release fishing tournament was open to ages 4-12, and prizes were handed out to those who placed first. The tournament was hosted by the Department of Leisure Services, and sponsored by Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Fish Florida and Ike Leary of the Granada Pier Bait and Tackle.
