The Riverfest Seafood Festival returned to Ormond Beach for its 11th year this past weekend, bringing fish, families and friends together along the Halifax River.
The festival, which took on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16-17, was held at Rockefeller Gardens and Fortunato Park. Despite the chilly temperatures, visitors and locals alike came to Riverfest, dining on seafood staples like crab cakes, lobster bisque, fried shrimp and fish and chips. Different vendors also set up shop and displayed their goods. The kids fishing clinic, sponsored by Fish Florida and Hull's Seafood, provided participants with a free fishing pole.
