The Flagler County Free Clinic celebrated 15 years of service with a fundraiser gala on Friday, May 3, at the Palm Coast Community Center. There was a silent auction, elegant dinner and music entertainment.
Terri Belletto, the clinic's director and only non-volunteer member, thanked the local doctors who donated their time and expertise to the community. Free clinic provides preventative care to the community. By helping those who can not afford traditional healthcare, the clinic is able to treat an illness before it develops into an emergency, which in turn helps local hospitals and emergency wait times.
Belletto said the event raised over $12,000, net, to benefit the clinic.
The clinic is located at 703 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell. Visit http://flaglerfreeclinic.org or call 437-3091.
