In an effort “tangentially related" to the homeless, Flagler County began clearing underbrush and trash from the woods that surround the Flagler Public County Library's main branch off Palm Coast Parkway.
A bulldozer was used to clear brush, while a team of Flagler County Jail inmates helped haul limbs, trash and other debris off the library's 19-acre property on the morning of Monday, March 11. In addition, several homeless people made efforts to remove trash, as well.
County officials expect the project to last at least a week.
