Sixty-five units march in Fabulous Fourth Parade in Flagler Beach

The annual Independence Day parade was hosted by the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach.

A total of 65 parade entries rolled south down A1A in floats, boats, cars, trucks and golf carts on the morning of Thursday, July 4.

The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach hosted its annual oFabulous Fourth Parade as onlookers lined the streets on the parade route.

The Best of Parade award was presented to Surfside Estates Community, which had one float, one truck and 13 golf carts, each decorated and representing the 13 original colonies.

The following winners also received awards:

First Place Judge's Choice - Salty Church

Second Place Judge's Choice - Charles Umpenhour Inc.

Third Place Judge's Choice - Rotary Club of Flagler Beach

 

First Place Marching Unit - Boy Scout Troop 281, Cub Scout Pack 281

Second Place Marching Unit - Scouts, B.S.A. Troop 472 of Flagler Beach

Third Place Marching Unit - Flagler County Schools

 

First Place Best Theme - USS Florida Base of United States Submarine 

Second Place Best Theme - Florida Pirate Alliance 

Third Place Best Theme - Pirate Crew of the Dark Lady with Mermaide

 

First Place Talent - THE NED

Second Place Talent - Studio Z Fitness

Third Place Talent - Phun Coast Parrot Head Club
