Flagler Palm Coast's girls soccer team extended its winning streak over crosstown rival Matanzas, defeating the Pirates 4-0 the night of Friday, Dec. 20, at Matanzas High School.
The Pirates haven't beaten the Bulldogs since the 2015-16 season.
The Bulldogs were led by Taylor Murphy, who scored two goals and had an assist, and Ashley Puentes and Hailey Bovino, who had one goal each.
"We've been struggling to score goals," FPC head coach Pete Hald said after the win. "So I'm glad we were able to score some nice goals and came out and scored early."
