Osceola Elementary School rang in the beginning of a new school year with music, pom poms and bags of school supplies during the "clap-in" as students filled the outdoor halls on Monday, Aug. 12.
Teachers lined the front gate to welcome bus riders with hugs and high-fives, and parents helped their children carry supplies to their classrooms and the cafeteria. To set the tone for the school year, the faculty played Pharrell William's song "Happy" over the loudspeakers.
