For the first time in a couple years, Flagler Palm Coast's football team will feature a relatively new roster. Although the Bulldogs return several key players on the offensive side of the ball — including starting quarterback Donovan Montoyo, backup quarterback Preston Roberts, running backs Ty Jenkins and Marc Genis, and four starters along the offensive line — FPC graduated nine starters on defense.
However, Bulldogs coach Travis Roland remains excited this spring practice.
"It's fun. You get to really coach them up again," he said. "It's one of those times where you can really show that you can coach."
He added: "We've got good athletes coming back who are ready to play."
