Just a week after the Spring Fair and Food Festival, food trucks and residents headed back to City Center for another spring-themed event.
The Festival of Spring, sponsored by Team Goudie Real Estate, Planet Fitness, Rusty’s and Airboat Rides at Midway, was held to support Karin “Bleu” Harris in her fight to beat a congenital heart defect through the sale of raffle tickets. Harris has suffered from complications through three open heart surgeries, and, has been waiting for over 300 days at Shands Hospital for a heart transplant.
Port Orange Resident Mary Jones and her family came out to the Festival of Spring to enjoy some time as a family.
“It’s a gorgeous day,” Jones said.
