Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic's furry friends now have their own dog park "ruff" around in.
Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic dedicated their new dog park, Mark’s Park, to clinic founder Mark C. Andersen on March 31, 2019, due to Andersen’s 40 years of service to the Port Orange animal community.
“Instead of just making our extra land into a parking lot, we decided to create an extra service for our animals,” said Katie Malensek, veterinarian and co-owner of Ravenwood.
Mark’s Park offers a variety of agility obstacles that challenge dogs and their owners of all experience levels. Agility obstacles are provided by BarkPark and feature “Rover Jump Over”, “King of the Hill”, “Stepping Paws” and “Teeter Totter."
Mark’s Park is available to all clients of Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic, and the gate code can be obtained at the front desk.
"We have been to Ravenwood for years, it's a wonderful place," said Linda Moore, longtime client of Ravenwood. "The addition of the dog park is a great service and we will use it regularly."
