Instead of Palm Coast United Methodist Church's annual Easter egg hunt, the church celebrated the season with a Spring Fling festival on Saturday, March 24.
Leanne Mannino, PCUMC children's director, said about 300 people attended to enjoy bounce houses, sand art, garden station, stuff-a-critter, a karate demonstration from students of Villari's Martial Arts of Palm Coast and more. The Palm Coast Fire Department's Public Safety Training Simulator and Florida Forest Service were present to interact with visitors.
"We do this every year, only for the reason to bring people on the campus to know that Jesus is alive and that this is just a safe place for them as a family to come and just enjoy and be together and celebrate Jesus' resurrection," Mannino said.
PCUMC's Easter services on Sunday, April 1, will be at sunrise at the 6500 Belle Terre Parkway campus and at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. at the main campus located at 5200 Belle Terre Parkway.
